Jordana Goldstein

Registered Psychologist

North & South Location

J

ordana is a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP) and a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). She provides both in-person and secure online counselling services to clients across Alberta and Canada, offering flexible and accessible support to individuals, couples, and families.

She holds a Master of Counselling from Seattle University (Calgary campus) and a Bachelor of Arts in Human and Social Development with a specialization in Child and Youth Care from the University of Victoria. Jordana’s professional background includes over 15 years of frontline experience working with high-risk youth, followed by several years in clinical practice supporting diverse populations through a wide range of challenges.

Jordana works with clients aged 12 and older, with a practice that is inclusive, affirming, and welcoming of diverse identities and lived experiences, including 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals, those exploring gender identity and sexuality, and people in diverse relationship structures, including consensual non-monogamy. Her work is also affirming of individuals within the kink community and sex workers.

In her clinical practice, Jordana supports individuals navigating grief and bereavement, relationship and interpersonal challenges, separation and divorce, trauma, and major life transitions. She has extensive experience working with individuals impacted by interpersonal violence (including domestic violence), motor vehicle accidents, attachment trauma, narcissistic relationship dynamics, and trauma bonding. She also provides support around sexuality, intimacy, and companion animal loss.

Jordana’s approach to therapy is grounded in trauma-informed and harm-reduction principles. She integrates evidence-based modalities such as EMDR, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Family Systems, Gottman Method, Imago Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. She also incorporates innovative approaches, including Virtual Reality (VR) therapy, when appropriate. Rather than applying a single framework, Jordana tailors therapy to meet each client’s unique needs, goals, and lived experiences.

She strives to create a warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their experiences openly. Jordana understands that life can sometimes feel overwhelming, uncertain, or disconnected, especially during times of significant change or distress. Her role is to walk alongside clients as they make sense of their experiences, rebuild stability, and move toward greater clarity, resilience, and a sense of direction that feels authentic to who they are.

Jordana believes that meaningful change happens when individuals feel heard, respected, and supported. Seeking support can be a difficult first step, but it is also a powerful one, and individuals do not have to navigate life’s challenges alone.
