ecky is a Registered Provisional Psychologist with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She believes that life is a continuous journey of self-discovery, and her goal is to create a warm and supportive environment where clients feel safe to reflect, explore, and thrive. She strives to value and prioritize each client’s unique experiences and circumstances to help them meet their individual goals, while drawing from a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), solution-focused therapy, and person-centered therapy.
Her practice supports children and adolescents navigating a variety of concerns such as anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), as well emotional regulation and social skills challenges. She also works with parents to help implement positive parenting strategies to help foster connection and positive relationships with their children. In addition, Becky also has experience and training in formal assessment for Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Becky is an avid reader and also enjoys spending time with her family and friends camping, boating, and dining, as well as cheering on her children at their various sporting activities.
