Lisa Skriver

isa Skriver is a Registered Psychologist with her Master’s of Education Counselling Psychology from the University of Alberta. She has worked with a variety of clients in the areas of anxiety, depression, trauma, interpersonal difficulties and life transitions. As a psychologist, she seeks to meet each client’s needs with empathy, compassion and practical guidance. Lisa has experience counselling individuals, couples, families and children. She creates a safe, non-judgmental space that  enhances personal exploration, discovery and growth.

 

She has training in a variety of psychotherapeutic methods including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and Play Therapy.

Her broad range of training enables her to be flexible and to tailor sessions towards the individual needs of her clients. In addition to psychotherapy, Lisa has experience providing formal assessments in the areas of parenting/custody and SAFE home assessments. She has also worked in a number of roles within the Alberta foster care system; and as well with Alberta Child and Family Services.

Lisa is currently accepting new clients and offers evening hours to accommodate client needs.
