essica is a Registered Provisional Psychologist with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. She supports adolescents, young adults, and adults dealing with various mental health concerns, including addictions and harm reduction, anxiety disorders, borderline personality disorder, depression, eating disorders (anorexia and bulimia), emotion dysregulation, life transitions, self-harm, suicidality, and trauma.
Rooted in respect for the complex interactions of biological, psychological, and social factors, Jessica aims to create a supportive, non-judgmental space where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered. She utilises evidence-based approaches such as Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Person-Centred Therapy. Additionally, Jessica is certified in EMDR and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) as trauma treatments. She also incorporates motivational interviewing, narrative therapy, and humanistic approaches to meet each client’s unique needs.
Jessica believes that meaningful change starts with a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, empathy, and collaboration. She is committed to helping clients increase self-awareness, build resilience, and develop skills that support long-term well-being. Her approach is creative, strengths-based, and flexible, ensuring that each person’s voice, values, and goals stay central to the work.
Jessica understands that taking the first step towards support can feel overwhelming, and clients don’t have to do it on their own. When they are ready, she encourages them to reach out to see if she is the right person to walk alongside them as they work towards healing, growth, and a life that feels both authentic and fulfilling.
