r. Janine Ray is a Registered Provisional Psychologist providing psychological assessment and therapy for children, youth, and adults. She offers comprehensive, strengths-based evaluations for neurodevelopmental differences, including autism and ADHD, as well as emotional and behavioural concerns, and provides evidence-based therapy and intervention across the lifespan.
Janine has a particular passion for supporting women through times of change, challenge, and health transition. Her doctoral research explored women’s health and menopause, with a focus on how high-quality, supportive relationships help women navigate periods of stress and change. She brings this lens to her clinical work with women’s issues, including pregnancy-related stress, postpartum concerns, and life transitions.
With a background in art therapy, Janine integrates creative and expressive approaches alongside evidence-based practices, tailoring her work to each client’s needs and strengths. She is particularly committed to providing clear, practical insights that help clients and families better understand themselves and access appropriate supports.
Her approach is thoughtful, collaborative, and grounded in current best practices. She strives to create a comfortable and respectful experience, ensuring that each individual feels understood and supported throughout assessment and therapy. Janine practices under the supervision of Dr. Cheryl Gilbert MacLeod, Registered Psychologist.
